Year 2021

The Beginning

Originally named TasTrips, Jiak Ba Buay started as a passion project on Instagram during a career transition in 2021. The name TasTrips stood for “Taste foods & share Trip experience near Singapore MRT Station.” Though it was put on pause, the idea never left.

Year 2025

The Relaunch

On 25 March 2025, Jiak Ba Buay made its comeback as a full-fledged website, dedicated to helping locals and travelers uncover delicious yet affordable food near MRT stations. What started as a passion project has now grown into a trusted food discovery platform.
